​Name and symbols
​To heed is to listen, with special attentions and considerations. This project goes by the name "Heed" because it emphasizes on the deadly nature of of Eating Disorders and how often these issues are being taken lightly. Many ought to pay heed to the warnings about Eating Disorders, unhealthy promotion of diet methods and toxic body images.
​This symbol represents the inner dialog of a person with Eating Disorders.
Red dialog: The individual's voice
Turquoise dialog: The Eating Disorders' voices
They hear a "voice" that controls them, that silent their real thoughts and feelings as well as their call for help.

​The color choices are inspired by NEDIC with a personal twist which can be seen on the original logo. Each colour is meant to compliment and further elevate the values of HEED.

Helvetica is an easy-to-read font, with tall and narrow letters. The font was chosen with accesibility in mind because this project aims to reach a wide group of audiences from different backgrounds.

​The mascot: Eddie and friends
Eddie and friends were inspired by the character EVE from the famous Pixar movie: Wall-E. Eddie represents a neutral character, an artificially intelligent being that is not human and it can show emotions through the eyes. He is the friend and the mentor who will accompany users throughout their conversation training with HEED
