As part of the HEED Project, Mysterious Diner was created with young adults and teenagers as its main audiences. It is a fun and engaging, yet educative boardgame that narrates a typical family mealtime, where story-telling happens and disordered eating habits might be omitted.
The boardgame emphasizes on early prevention of Eating Disorder by asking its players to find out who is the one with symptoms through a point system, which is calculated based on a variety of food items, life events and conditions that take place as the game goes on.

Conversations often take place during family meal time, during which we share about our days and weeks.

BECOME A MIND READER AND COMPLETE YOUR MISSION IN SECRET!
-Are you team "Supporter"? If so, you are entrusted with an important mission: Find out who is the mysterious diner and help reduce their points to a healthy range!
Be careful not to let them know who you are or they might panic and their points may go out of control.
-Are you the "Sufferer"? If so, you have your own mission to complete in order to clear the game. Will you be able to open up with the other players as the game is being cleared?
A GAME THAT BREAKS BARRIERS
Mysterious Diner forces players to communicate in order to clear their goals. One must think carefully before revealing any information, much like in real life, one must be tactful with their choice of words when approaching any sensitive matter.
A colourful design with distinct characters also helps make the game more user-friendly for young teenagers. It aims to create opportunities for story-telling as players get to know one another and perhaps, touching on other meaningful topics outside of the game.
